| Files that are 4 megabytes in size or smaller can be sent via email. We strongly urge you to compress the files with Stuffit or Zip them before attaching them to your email, even if the files are small. Compressing the files first greatly reduces the risk of file corruption during transit. Font files seem to be especially prone to being corrupted if not compressed before emailing. Email the files to our prepress department, then notifiy your sales rep that you have sent the files. | |||

Files larger than 4 megabytes should be uploaded to our FTP site. You will need FTP client software in order to use this method. Depending on which computer platform you are using, we have two different FTP clients that we recomend that are free to download and use. Click on the links below to go to the download pages for each of the clients, then download and install the software on your computer. For Mac users: Download Cyberduck Tutorial: open an FTP connection with Cyberduck (not Sun Litho specific) For PC users: Download CoreFTP Tutorial: open an FTP connection with CoreFTP (not Sun Litho specific)
Enter the following server/login information into your ftp client software: server address: ftp.sunlitho.net As with emailing files, we strongly recomend that you compress all files with Stuffit or Zip them before uploading to prevent corruption which can make your files unusable and cause delays. After your upload has completed, please send an email to Sun's prepress department, and/or your sales rep to let us know the file has been uploaded. |
